Heena Kepadia is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin and is majoring in Government with a minor in Social Work and Italian. In addition to this, she is also pursuing an interdisciplinary certificate in International Studies through the Bridging Disciplines Program with a concentration in International Political and Economic Development. She has spent the past summer studying Italian in Rome and its different dialects throughout the country. Heena has been a congressional intern for the Texas House Committee on Agriculture and Livestock as well as for its Chairman Richard Hardcastle. On campus, Heena has been the Financial Director as well as Pledge Trainer for her professional fraternity, Phi Beta Chi. Her interests lie with consequences of environmental resource depletion on the global economy and environmental conservation policy.
