Biography
John Lira is a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Political Science, with a minor in Global Analysis. Areas of interest include foreign policy, national security, and Intelligence analysis. John has served in the Marine Corps as an intelligence analyst for over twelve years, which included two combat tours to Iraq. At his university, John works with and advocates for transitioning veterans who are entering academia. John was also selected as a Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow at Princeton University's Junior Summer Institute in the summer of 2011.
