Mayu Takeda is a junior studying political science and psychology at The University of Texas at Dallas. She is a nationally competitive cross-examination policy debater at UTD, with multiple appearances in late elimination rounds as well as qualification to the National Debate Tournament as a top-ten team in the most competitive region in college debate. She has previously interned at The Center for American and International Law, where she was the head of the weekly newsletter, The International Inquirer, and headed The Center's video marketing efforts. Her previous work also includes being an instructor at Four Star Debate Camp as well as the Comet Debate Institute. This fall, Mayu will be working on projects involving the Middle East and North Africa.
