Tyler Ingraham is a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in political science. He ran a campaign for the San Antonio College board of Trustees that garnered popular support from professors and students and broadened the board’s conversation about meeting student and faculty needs. He also created Free University, an education cooperative intended to fill in the gaps of a traditional collegiate education. Their topics ranged from auto mechanics to current events to critical theory. He was a Moreno/Rangel Legislative Fellow with the Mexican American Legislative Caucus and interned in the office of State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer, D- San Antonio. He is a professional carpenter and will intern with Habitat for Humanity this fall.
