Biography
Alan McQuinn is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin double-majoring in Public Relations and Political Communication with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Throughout his college career, Alan has continuously sought opportunities involving the intersection of media and government – including working for the Daily Texan as a videographer and for the City of Austin Communication and Public Information Office as a media relations intern. Alan has completed a semester studying abroad in Beijing, China at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. While in China, Alan took classes to better his speaking skills while he was immersed in the culture. He will intern with the Federal Communications Commission this semester.
