Cassie Maneen is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin and a Terry Foundation Scholar pursuing a dual degree in Government and Radio-TV-Film. In her capacity as a Leadership Team member with the Liberal Arts Council, she was part of the founding staff for THE LIBERATOR, the official publication of the College of Liberal Arts, ultimately serving as co-editor. Through her membership with Student Government's Women's Resource Agency, she helped to create and conduct a university-wide campus climate report for female students. As a member of the Texas Orange Jackets honorary female service organization, Cassie helped organize UT Week of Women event programming, volunteered as a mentor with the Settlement Home for Children, and worked to propose plans for the establishment of a campus Women's Resource Center. Cassie will intern with Emilly's List during her time in Washington, D.C.
