Biography
Charles Nwaogu is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin where he studies Plan I Government and Arabic Language & Literature. In spring 2011, Charles interned under Representative Debbie Riddle during the 82nd session of the Texas House of Representatives. He has also advocated for prisoners' rights with the Texas Civil Rights Project and has used his language skills in Arabic and French to assist Arab and African refugees with Caritas of Austin, Furaha House, and Austin International High School. In spring 2013, Charles completed his government thesis on international two-state bargaining scenarios and domestic policy costs.
