David Loewenberg is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin where he is pursuing a degree in Government with a minor in Sociology. David has spent much of his time at UT Austin engaging in the political process, whether through serving as an officer in University Democrats, reporting on current events for The Daily Texan, or interning with Representative Justin Rodriguez in the Texas House of Representatives. Additionally, he has developed a passion for improving public education in the United States through his work as a mentor with Communities in Schools and a counselor at the Austin Nature & Science Center. David will continue to explore these interests as he interns in Washington, D.C., with the Office of Early Learning at the U.S. Department of Education.
