Biography
José Luis Briones is a senior at The University of Texas-Pan American pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance with a minor in Political Science. Previously he studied at the Berlin School of Economics and Law in Berlin, Germany where he developed an interest in macroeconomics and financial markets. In the summer of 2012 he was selected to participate in the Latino Leadership Initiative (LLI) at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a program that features classroom sessions on a range of leadership development topics. José Luis is interning at the Organization of American States this semester and upon graduation he plans on pursuing a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Public Policy.
