Biography
Shiv Rawal is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin studying Plan II Honors and Government. Shiv largely became interested in public policy as he explored his passion for education through experiences working with KIPP: Austin schools and studying about multiculturalism and education in a summer abroad in Antigua, Guatemala. Shiv has also pursued an interest he has in law and government through internships with Project Vote Smart, the Williamson County Attorneys Office, and the Agenda Office for the City of Austin. Outside of class, Shiv enjoys performing with the Punjabbawockeez, a Bhangra/Hip-hop dance team on campus.
