Abi Chen

Yuying “Abi” Chen is a third-year Eugene McDermott Scholar studying international political economy and economics at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is highly interested in obtaining a global perspective in the increasingly flattened world. She has studied in Italy, interned in the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and attended an international Rotaract conference in Canada. On campus, she served as the President of the Rotaract Club and offered more service opportunities for students. She is also a volunteer at the Confucius Institute, facilitating cross-cultural communication between the U.S. and China.
