Biography
Connor Hughes is a third year Plan II Honors and biochemistry student at The University of Texas at Austin. Connor plans on attending medical school upon graduation and is interested in the fusion of public policy and health care quality. This past year he interned under physicians at hospitals and The Texas Department of State Health Services. On campus, Connor has served as the team leader for his bacterial research team, fundraised for his charity bike ride to Alaska, and been active in The Tejas Club. Connor will be interning with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotions.
