Biography
Ghada Ghannam is a junior studying English and legal studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio. A native of Cairo, Egypt, Ghada’s volunteer experiences abroad have cultivated her interest in pursuing a career in international law with a focus on human rights and democratic reform in the Middle East and North Africa. Currently, she is the Chair of Communications at For The Kids, one of Texas’ largest student-led non-profits, which supports families battling pediatric cancer. She is also the co-founder of Camp U.N.I.T.E., a 501©3-pending non-profit that works to empower teenage refugees entering the American school system.
