Biography
Isaac Frias will graduate with a double major in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Texas at Arlington in the spring of 2015. He is an Archer Fellow for the University of Texas System and he will intern and study in Washington D.C. during the 2014 fall semester. Also, as a McNair Scholar at UTA he conducted research during the summer of 2014 entitled “The Impact of the Illicit Drug Industry on Mexico’s Democratization,” with mentor Dr. Dale Story. In addition, he has participated in a service-learning component at Catholic Charities Fort Worth where he tutored refugees and asylum seekers.
