Biography
Jennifer Tran is a senior Sociology and Government major at the University of Texas at Austin. She is passionate about social justice has been heavily involved with UT’s Multicultural Engagement Center. She has served as the Director of Operations for the Asian Desi Pacific Islander American Collective and has led efforts on various issues, including a campaign to support the university in the Fisher v. Texas case. She organized the 15th anniversary of The Project, the largest student-led day of service in Austin, and has been a peer mentor on campus. This summer, she interned at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
