Biography
Maya Garcia is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in government and communication studies with a concentration in political communication. At UT Austin, Maya is an active member of Moody College of Communication Council, having co-chaired Moody CoC Week last spring. Off campus, Maya has interned at a PAC, a city council campaign, a non-profit, and a state office. Upon graduation, Maya hopes to return to D.C. for graduate school and pursue a career in public service.
