Montserrat Zepeda Benavides

Montserrat is majoring in political science and is graduating in December 2014 with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While in college, Montserrat has worked at Gostomski & Hecker, P.C. gaining an abundance of knowledge and experience in the legal field. She has also worked for Congressman Lloyd Doggett’s re-election campaign, Organizing for America as the Latinos for Obama summer fellow, and Albert Uresti for Tax Assessor-Collector Campaign as an assistant campaign manager. This semester, Montserrat will be interning with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants as their Immigrant Children’s Legal Program Intern.
