Biography
Mikaila Smith is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Plan II Honors and Chinese, and pursuing a Bridging Disciplines Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Management. She plans to pursue a career in the international development nonprofit realm, and is interested in working in areas such as refugee issues, early childhood education, or food and nutrition. She is a Rapoport scholar at UT Austin and has volunteered with Interfaith Alliance of Central Texas, AVANCE Austin, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as interned in the Success by Six department at United Way for Greater Austin.
