Biography
Katrina Tilaon is an international senior honors student at The University of Texas at Tyler pursuing a nursing major and a political science minor. Throughout her undergraduate career, she has held leadership positions in the Asian Student Association and LOGOS. She was also heavily involved in research in the fields of entomology and nursing, and has presented her findings in different conferences. She is passionate about global public health and wishes to deliver culturally competent health care services to vulnerable children and families. After graduation, she plans to pursue a dual master's degree to become a family nurse practitioner and a public health advocate.
