Biography
Mrinalini Shah is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, where she studies government and communication studies. She is interested in the nexus of human rights and national security. In Austin, she volunteers with vulnerable immigrant groups, including refugees, asylum seekers, and detainees. Mrinalini has spent her summers interning in Peru conducting political science research, and participating in the American Enterprise Institute’s Summer Honors Program. This summer, she studied at King’s College in London. Mrinalini plans to attend graduate school and work in Washington upon graduation.
