Anu Emmandi is a junior studying computer and political sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas. She is part of the Collegium V Honors College and is a National Merit Scholar. On campus, she served as the Chair of Communications Committee on Student Government and placed nationally for her university’s pre-law mediation team. She is passionate about criminal justice reform and public policy, and has worked for the Innocence Project and for TexProtects, a nonprofit that advocates for victims of child abuse. Anu previously interned at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, where she used geospatial mapping to study disease dispersion. She plans to build a career exploring the intersections of technology, policy, human rights and the law.
