Biography
Bharath Ram is a junior at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he is pursuing a degree in biology with minors in psychology and civic engagement. He plans to enter the medical field and work to solve global health disparities. A UTSA Top Scholar, Bharath has been involved in multiple health and volunteer organizations such as Pre-Medical Society and GlobeMed, and has sought a multidisciplinary approach to his education by taking courses in biomedical engineering, sociology and classics. Aside from academics, Bharath is a professional Indian dancer and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
