Biography
Brianna Diaz is a junior and Top Scholar at The University of Texas at San Antonio pursuing a degree in psychology with minors in mathematics and civic engagement. As a first-generation American and college student, Brianna has developed a passion for education. During her time in the UTSA GEMS program, she observed and taught in local San Antonio schools, which ignited her interest in education reform. Last summer, she completed a study abroad program in South Africa, where she studied the state of education in the post-Apartheid era. Brianna enjoys spending time with friends and family, and exploring new places.
