Biography
Claire Allbright is a junior journalism and government student at The University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Liberal Arts Honors Program, and is studying Arabic through the Arabic Flagship Program. Claire has worked at UT Austin’s student newspaper, The Daily Texan, as both a reporter and editor. This fall, she will be working with The Texas Tribune covering the Texas delegation on Capitol Hill as the Tribune’s first Washington, D.C. fellow. Claire plans to use her passion for writing to shed light on the political process in order to bring more transparency to government.
