Darsh Shah is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas pursuing a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a fast-track master’s degree in health care leadership and management. As an aspiring physician, Darsh is interested in enhancing quality health care through both clinical practice and public policy. This past summer, he interned with the Bipartisan Policy Center as a preventative health policy intern, researching the cost savings potential of prevention. On campus, he is involved as a peer health educator at the UT Dallas Student Wellness Center and as a student government senator. He has also worked as a volunteer emergency medical technician (EMT) in the Dallas area. His interests include basketball, hiking, traveling and any other outdoor activity.
