Biography
Jonathan Markel is a junior studying aerospace engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing an interdisciplinary certificate in public policy. He has previously interned with Texas Star Alliance Public Affairs Firm and NASA Langley Research Center. On campus, he has helped build three unmanned aerial vehicles with Design/Build/Fly, served as an associate editor of the Student Engineering Council's Vector Magazine and founded the UT Austin Chapter of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space. Upon graduation, he plans to attend graduate school before beginning a career in aerospace policy.
