Biography
Mary Claire Phillips is a senior majoring in history and government in the Liberal Arts Honors program at The University of Texas at Austin. On campus, she is an active member of the Texas Speech Team and avid researcher in the campus archives. Mary Claire spent this past semester studying World War II in the Normandy Scholars Program before traveling throughout Europe. After graduation, Mary Claire plans to attend graduate school and pursue her love of the cross section of history and politics. When she's not at her internship, school, or a speech tournament, Mary Claire enjoys knitting, embroidery and other fiber arts.
