Biography
Brooklyn Whitmire found her interest in national security as a former cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy. She has completed two study-abroad trips, a research practicum, an honors thesis, and several other programs (e.g. SCONA at Texas A&M and the Texas Intelligence Academy in DC.) She has worked on a mayoral campaign and served as vice president of the Political Science Association. Upon returning to Texas, she will be graduating with honors and distinction from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Following graduation, Whitmire would like to work in the intelligence community.
