Biography
Fizza Davwa is a senior majoring in sociology and government and pursuing a certificate in human rights and social justice at The University of Texas at Austin. Previously, she has worked at the Texas Capitol, Texas Civil Rights Project, and the State Government of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Additionally, she has served as a mentor for adolescent girls at a juvenile detention facility in Austin, TX. In the future, she hopes to attend law school and work within the system to fight human rights injustices that occur in the nation.
