Biography
Jacob Pena is a senior at The University of Texas Austin studying government, he is interested in government accountability and urban policy. His interests are spurred by his work in grassroots and non-profit organizations like League of United Latin American Citizens and Texas Organizing Project, and in the Texas Senate through the Luna Scholars and Fellows Program. He transferred to UT Austin from Collin College and spent summer 2017 at the University of Michigan through the Public Policy and International Affairs Program (PPIA). He hopes to stay in Washington D.C. to gain more experience working in policy before he pursues a master of public policy.
