Biography
Kendall Hagman is a third year undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, with a certificate in evidence and inquiry. She is a member of the Polymathic Scholars Honors Program within the College of Natural Sciences, for which she will write a thesis currently entitled “Science in Political Agendas.” Hagman is also the founder of the UT Austin chapter of the pro-STEM political action committee, 314 Action, through which she seeks to heighten civic engagement among fellow science and engineering undergraduates. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in science policy analysis.
