Biography
Lila Al-Kassem is an international relations and global studies student at The University of Texas at Austin. Growing up in Amman, Jordan inspired Al-Kassem to learn more about international development in the Middle East through her academic studies. She previously interned with Berkeley Research Group, United States Agency for International Development, and UniHouse in Amman. On campus, she was a research affiliate with Innovations for Peace and Development assisting with corruption research in Honduras and a Brumley Next Generation Scholar. She is also involved with Humanity First-TX and Texas Orange Jackets. Upon graduation, Al-Kassem hopes to pursue a career in either consulting or data analysis in policy research.
