Biography
Carla Ramazan is a Eugene McDermott Scholar at The University of Texas at Dallas where she studies political science and Spanish. She is passionate about women's issues related to sexual violence and reproductive justice. As Vice President of Student Government, Ramazan spearheaded an initiative to integrate affirmative consent into University orientation programs. Additionally, she served as a fellow for the Colin Allred congressional campaign and established the UTD campus chapter of Deeds Not Words, a political advocacy organization focused on women's empowerment. After graduation, Ramazan plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a public interest attorney.
