Biography
Fatima Azhar is a senior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in public affairs with a minor in public health. On campus, Azhar is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the Public Affairs/Administration National Honors Society, the student chapter of the International City Management Association (ICMA). She is also involved in many public health organizations including the Public Health Initiative and UNICEF. Azhar is passionate about public health, civil rights issues, public policy, and women rights. After graduation, Azhar hopes to work in the federal government focusing on public health policy to help reduce health disparities in marginalized communities.
