Margaret Siu is a senior majoring in the Plan II Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Siu holds certificates in Managerial Economics, Business Analytics, and Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School and Advanced Mandarin Chinese from the National Taiwan Normal University (國立臺灣師範大學). She is also the founder and Editor Emeritus of Apricity, the official literary and arts journal of UT Austin. Apricity, which has published new and established artists from across the world, has been recognized by British Vogue, the American Academy of Poets, and National Public Radio. Siu's writing has been recognized by institutions such as the Dallas Morning News, Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Paragon Press, the George H. Mitchell Award for Academic Excellence, and the James F. Parker Poetry Prize. Siu has been a guest lecturer at UT's History of Social Entrepreneurship program at Beijing Foreign Studies University (北京外国语大学) and a keynote speaker at the Texas Leadership Society. She has a long-term interest in working to strengthen international relations between the United States and China.
