Biography
Maria Villegas Bravo is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology and distinguished college honors. As a UT student, Villegas has volunteered in Austin with Women of Excellence, and with Texas Performing Arts. She has also assisted UT Austin professor Dr. Marlone Henderson with social psychology research. Villegas also interned with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, assisting the immigration team by interviewing clients and compiling a database of Central American country conditions for the attorneys. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a law degree.
