Biography
Perla Aguirre is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in government. On campus, she has been involved with Minority Women Pursuing Law and the Student Conduct Board. Previously, she has worked at the Equal Justice Center and the Heman Sweatt Travis County Courthouse. Issues of inequity and injustice are of the utmost importance to her. After completing her undergraduate degree, Aguirre will be joining the 2020 Teach for America Corps in San Antonio. Afterward, Aguirre plans to attend law school to pursue a career in public interest law.
