Biography
Rebecca E. Gutierrez-Riera is a senior from The University of Texas San Antonio majoring in global affairs. Having lived in five countries and three continents, Gutierrez embodies what it means to be a global citizen. During her time at UTSA, she has participated in UTSA Model United Nations Conferences and served as Vice President of UTSA’s Human Trafficking Awareness Organization. She also recently completed a semester as a McClendon Scholar, where she interned in the Office of Texas State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer. She aims to integrate her international upbringing and broad academic experience to develop her professional goals and interests.
