Biography
Shelby is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in government, international relations & global studies, and Asian cultures and languages. Curious about the migrant condition, her research interests fall under the umbrella of security/development, but her current project pertains to climate change's impact on South Asian foodways. She interned with immigration law firm RAICES, where she assisted survivors of human trafficking and undocumented minors in their legal journey. When not volunteering for her local refugee services, you can find this bibliophile attending art exhibits and hosting dinner parties for her friends.
