Biography
Ayesha Khalfe is a senior majoring in political science and psychology at The University of Texas at Dallas. Khalfe plans to take a gap year before attending law school to gain more work experience in policy, law, and the mental health arena. She hopes her internship in Washington, D.C., will lead to opportunities for her gap year and plans to return to D.C after graduation. After law school, Khalfe plans to work in public interest law to confront the various civil rights issues disadvantaged and vulnerable populations face.
