Biography
Kaylie Perkins is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in government and minoring in Arabic with a focus on national security. She is a member of Texas Darlins, a community-building women’s organization. She has accumulated over 80 volunteer hours working with the Boys and Girls Club of Austin. Last spring, she completed an internship with the Office of the Texas Lieutenant Governor, Dan Patrick, as a legislative and public policy intern working on Health and Human Services legislation. She is passionate about improving relations between the U.S. and the Middle East through cultural understanding and effective communication.
