Madeline Preston is a senior at The University of Texas at Dallas pursuing a degree in economics and minoring in political science. On campus, she has been involved with the Transfer Mentor Program and is a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member. Off campus, she has worked in the service industry, as an intern on a mayoral campaign in Dallas, and as an editorial writer for Dallas Innovates. Madeline has previously volunteered with Journey of Hope, a Grief Support Center in Dallas. Additionally, she has spent her summers independently traveling, volunteering, and gaining insight into other cultures around the world. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a Master’s in international political economy at UT Dallas. She hopes to use her education and travel experiences to devote her life to policymaking, advocacy, and creating a more sustainable world.
