Biography
Ronak Desai is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in chemistry and minoring in government. He works as an undergraduate researcher in a lab that seeks to understand a class of molecules called polyketides as well as the chemical machinery that produces them. He is also president of the Texas Business Healthcare Association and a member of UT Austin's Senate of College Councils. Desai hopes to enroll in an MD/PhD program and pursue his interests in medicine, research, and policy.
