Biography
Christopher Back is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in information technology and systems with a minor in political science. On campus, Back served as vice president for Big Data Club, service chair for Alpha Kappa Psi, and was a member of the ITS Leadership Council. He was also a volunteer consultant for 180 Degrees Consulting and a backend programmer for the Association for Computing Machinery. Off campus, Back interned with the documentary startup Explore Their Stories and for defense contracting at Textron in cybersecurity. Back is passionate about the intersection of technology and policymaking and hopes to use data science to identify and reduce inequalities in governance.
