Jennifer "Jen" Saeling is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in neuroscience with a minor in sociology. Passionate about healthcare, Saeling has worked as a vision therapist at The Optometry Center for Vision Therapy. Having experienced healthcare from a provider's perspective, Saeling aims to gain a more holistic view of medicine through her strong interest in healthcare policy; she is most passionate about increasing healthcare accessibility for marginalized communities through social impact and advocacy. Saeling has served as a junior fellow for the Social Entrepreneurship Learning Lab, where she worked on a social venture that helps Asian American and Pacific Islander elders and immigrants smoothly navigate the U.S. healthcare system. After graduation, Saeling plans to attend graduate school to complete a dual MSPAS/MPH degree in order to provide accessible and compassionate care for her patients.
