Biography
Pratik Koppikar is a McDermott Scholar and junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in biology. On campus, Koppikar has written for the school newspaper and worked at Radio UTD. He has also led two organizations: Roosevelt @ UTD, a public policy case competition, and Dallas Musical Outreach, a music volunteerism organization. Koppikar has also volunteered on local and national political campaigns and has experience working in numerous scientific laboratories. After graduation, Koppikar plans to pursue law school, a Ph.D. in neurobiology, or teach at a Texas high school.
