Biography
Anna Pate is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin studying economics and Plan II Honors with a minor in Chinese. She is an alumna of the U.S. State Department’s NSLI-Y program in Taiwan. Off campus, Pate has interned at the Texas State Capitol and with the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. On campus, she participated in research at both the Strauss Center for International Security and Law and the Salem Center for Policy. She has also served as an undergraduate fellow at the Clements Center. After graduation, Pate hopes to pursue a career focused on national security, economics, and diplomacy and plans to eventually attend graduate school.
