Biography
Hadeel Ali is a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in neuroscience. On campus, she was a Green Fellow who conducted molecular biology research at UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Off campus, Ali’s passion for advocacy drove her to form a youth committee at her local community center, the Muslim American Society Dallas Chapter. She later mentored seven middle school girls on how to navigate their multifaceted identities and spaces society traditionally prevented them from accessing. After graduation, Ali plans to pursue a joint medical and doctoral degree and hopes to bring care to underserved, underrepresented populations in healthcare.
