Biography
Hana Thai is a senior double majoring in government and international relations and global studies, specializing in international political economy at The University of Texas at Austin. She has a minor in Arabic and is pursuing a Bridging Disciplines Programs certificate in children and public policy. She has served her community as vice president of the Muslim Student Association on campus and through her work with Girl Forward, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting refugee and displaced girls with their English language learning and development as intelligent and confident women. After graduating, Thai aims to pursue her doctoral degree in political science to become a university professor.
