Biography
Leslie Hernandez is a senior at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley majoring in economics with a minor in international business. On campus, she served as a student mentor and marketing manager for Enactus RGV. She previously interned with UT Rio Grande Valley’s School of Medicine as a program assistant and with H-E-B in sales and marketing for the border region. Growing up on the U.S.– Mexico border, Hernandez is proud to serve both countries as she works internationally on causes relating to poverty alleviation, children, education, and immigration. After graduation, she plans to obtain a master’s degree in international business and begin a nonprofit organization.
